A business manager is an individual who is responsible for leading, supervising, mentoring and motivating other members of the company for the success of the company. However, these are the strengths of most of the experienced managers and since they repeatedly apply them in the course of discharging their duties, their business run smoothly and lead to maximum benefits. Promotion and recognition are therefore expected when one plans his or her duties well, develops the positive attitude towards his or her work and other workers, and doing is or her best while discharging given duties. Through planning, individuals are enabled to know their strengths and weaknesses. Most people get promotions easily because of the sense of pride that they have in their work and because they perceive their challenges as opportunities. Authority ensures that workers are responsible and accountable for everything they do. Discipline ensures that individual conduct themselves with respect while at the workplace. Remuneration influences motivation of workers and therefore benefiting the organization. Espirit de corps ensures that there is a good relationship between workers and therefore they can be able to consult one another to effective carry out their duties (Kreitner 35).
