Connection between Art and Culture

Art is the form of presenting different aspects of culture to people. The most popular forms of art that are widely discussed by people all over the world are painting, sculpture, and jewelry. Once can come across the mentioned forms of art in almost any culture.

Frank Lloyd, a famous American architect, stated that art is the way of transforming the basic principles of nature into the forms suitable for being used by people.

The term “culture” has a collective character. It combines the beliefs and ideas intrinsic to a specific group of people. Such a notion can be also described as a composite unity of views and assumptions shared by a group of people living in a specific period of time. Culture is used by people to adapt to the world they are living in.
